Welcome to HalalCoin, a non-custodial wallet, with emphasis on Shariah compliance, provided by Alternative Crypto Investments Inc. d/b/a AltC Studio (“AltC Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HalalCoin mobile application and related services (“App” or "Services").

Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must reside and be located within the United States.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.

2. Non-Custodial Wallet and Private Keys

  • HalalCoin is a non-custodial wallet. We do not store or manage your private keys.
  • You alone are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your private keys and backup phrases.
  • We cannot recover lost or compromised private keys.

3. Financial and Spiritual Advice Disclaimer

  • Financial Empowerment Only: AltC Studio and HalalCoin provide general informational tools for financial empowerment. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • No Spiritual Advice: We do not offer spiritual guidance or religious advice.
  • Halal & Shariah Definition: We independently define "Halal" and "Shariah" based on guidelines from the FIQH Council of North America. However, nothing provided through our App or communication should be considered a fatwa or formal religious ruling.
  • You should consult appropriate professional advisors or religious authorities for specific financial or spiritual advice.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use our App for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices.
  • Violate applicable laws, including money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, or other financial crimes.
  • Attempt to disrupt or impair our Services.

5. No Liability for Illegal Activities

AltC Studio explicitly disclaims any liability for any illegal, unauthorized, or unethical activities conducted by users of HalalCoin. We do not condone or support financial crimes or scams. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims or damages resulting from your actions or misuse of our Services.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The HalalCoin app, logo, trademarks, and associated intellectual property are owned exclusively by AltC Studio.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App solely for personal purposes.
  • You may not redistribute, modify, or sell any part of our App or Services without express written permission.

7. Risks Associated with Bitcoin and Blockchain

  • Bitcoin and cryptocurrency transactions are inherently risky and volatile.
  • Transactions are irreversible, and losses due to errors, hacks, fraud, or loss of private keys are permanent.
  • You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with using Bitcoin, blockchain technology, and our App.

8. Privacy

Your use of our App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • AltC Studio and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms in the App. Continued use of our App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which you reside, without regard to its conflicts of law principles.
